Besides this application form, all applicants are requested to submit a detailed CV expliciting the educational background, prior scientific experience and present research activities. Please send the CV to antonior@ffclrp.usp.br with a CC to jtejada@usp.br and in the e-mail subject line specify “Lascon Application”. Your application will not be complete until we receive two letters of recommendation. These should be written by your supervisor(s), professors or other qualified people, and printed and signed on official letterheads of their institutions. Please send the two letters by postal mail no later than August 31st 2011 to the following address:

To expedite the evaluation process you may send an e-mail to antonior@ffclrp.usp.br (CC to jtejada@usp.br) with the letters of recommendation attached to it. Please write in the e-mail subject line “Lascon 2012 references”. You should also supply the names and e-mail addresses of the two persons you have selected in the application form.
After submitting this form you will receive a copy by e-mail. Only the selected applicants will receive e-mails notifying their selection. If you do not receive an e-mail on the specified release date, this means that you were not selected. Please do not send us e-mails asking why. We can only select 26 students and we are expecting a very competitive selection process.
